The next episode in our adventures together. July 18, 2015. So we are over a year into this crazy journey, had 6 attempts (3 with the clinic, 3 with our lovely known donor) and we are now embarking on attempt number 7. G arrived last night and is staying with us until Monday, so we will try as many attempts as we can before he goes. The weather is glorious, so we are off for a walk in the South Downs and a picnic. The next afternoon emotionally broken and so exhausted our family travelled home feeling very empty. My parents lost a son. My sister and I no longer had a brother. We’re back on it, with *fingers crossed* a cycle in July, on a different protocol (short, this time – Fostimon and Cetrotide with no down reg.). We’re still missing a recipient, but Dr didn’t seem bothered by this, I got the impression there is a bit of a waiting list for donors so we should have replacement leg for our tripod soon.
