THE BRIDE OF BURNING MAN. For 2006's Hope and Fear theme, Burntown built the Bride of Burning Man. The Bride was well received and eventually ended up photographed by Dan Adams and later saw print in the pages of the Smithsonian Magazine's May 2007 issue. Burntown's first order of business upon arrival on playa in 2007 is to plant magical beans around the perimeter of the camp.
