With divorce rates higher then they have been ever before, abortion rates higher then they have been before, with things like cancer and heart and lung disease higher then ever before, with people falling away from the church in record numbers with the changing of my generation, we live in a bad, sinful generation! Today, the church is letting a lot of things slip...

For the most uninteresting stuff ever. Tuesday, January 24, 2012. Been in the book of Revelation this week. Not going to start giving a huge teaching on the book, but it is challenging. this book is all about comfort when going through times of great trial and persecution. Jesus tells the church in Smyrna right off the hop that they will be thrown in prison and tortured until they die. This is a reality that people have to face every day in areas of oppression. Where is their comfort? Where is their hope?

Literally, the whole week, we were praying. Prayer is so much more powerful then we think. Christians in China pray three to five hours a day. Christians in South Korea pray two to three hours a day. The most real thing any one has said to me in the last couple months was this: “When a father sees his child disobeying him, he notices it, isn't pleased and disciplines him. As for studying, wake up, read a few chapters of my bible eat breakfast, go to class till lunch, study till Supper, study after supper till bed time, repeat. So little time to do anything else. This has been on my heart, and it is more and more what I have been seeing in the scriptures. Ephesians 2:10 "For we are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works which have been prepared before hand, that we should walk in them.".
