Ajs Guide Service 2014. During winter months stripers will congregate around the local steam plants. Winter time can produce some large stripers on big baits pulled behind planer boards and freelined. Small bucktail jigs can also produce fish also. During summer, stripers will hold in the coolest most oxygenated water they can find. We will be fishing in the river arms, where fish will hold throughout the summer.
