From late November until Christmas, many German cities host Christmas Markets. While the markets vary by city, generally they feature lots of good food, handmade crafts, and the hot spiced wine called Gluhwein. It is in the town of Brandt, a town so small that it does not appear on most maps. Per wikipedia, the town was established in 1839 to serve as a toll gate location on the national road.
