Little Wendy's Words: June 2011
http://littlewendyswords.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 22, 2011. Crystal is now 15 months old! She's 25 lbs, 32 inches: putting her at 90th percentile for height and 75th for weight. She now has 12 teeth and a little more hair. Walking by herself is still to scary for her and I love it when she often reaches for my hand. Trip to the zoo. Crystal's cousins visiting from Utah. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Little Wendy's Words: A Newborn and the Toilet
http://littlewendyswords.blogspot.com/2013/07/a-newborn-and-toilet.html
Friday, July 26, 2013. A Newborn and the Toilet. It's crazy how many diapers a newborn can go through, especially when I change it immediately after each poop. Chester would continue pooping after I just changed the diaper several times and I would feel that I'm totally wasting so many diapers and diapers are so expensive! Well, diapers weren't always in existence and there aren't diapers everywhere in the world even today, so what do those people do? I've actually met people who practiced elimination co...

Hong Kong Hawkins: November 2013
http://richardandbetsey.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 26, 2013. Another Tuesday night challenge. The kids completed their Tuesday challenge and were rewarded with popsicles. They even shared. Sure love that. Sunday, November 24, 2013. On Wednesday, we went to the church to put together hygiene kits for the people in the Philippines who were impacted by Typhoon Haiyan. The kids loved it. When it was time to leave, Nora kept asking to put together one more kit. Made me happy that they are so eager to help others. Tuesday, November 19, 2013.

Hong Kong Hawkins: February 2014
http://richardandbetsey.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 26, 2014. Ive been a delinquent blogger lately. It's been a busy month! We moved our family night to Tuesday night because there is the possibility that Richard could make it on Tuesdays. He was able to be there last night. We were excited to introduce the kids to slurpees. I can remember slurpees being the highlight of our summer trips to Utah. Calvin was a huge fan. Nora thought they were okay, but wanted a Popsicle instead. Tuesday, February 18, 2014. What is your favorite color?

So There's That: November 2012
http://sothereisthat.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 13, 2012. Or it could have been that I assumed pulling some of the questions from my hardest 4th grade exams would do the trick. But alas, every time I was dolling out 100%s and A s. I was using up my best stickers and glitter every time I had to grade a perfect paper! I knew something had to give; I was squandering precious Lisa Frank resources! I started to doubt myself as an educator and I think this is about the time I began looking at other options. I'm not sure she ever received a...

Anderson Family Blog: Mont St. Michel and St. Malo
http://anderson-family-blog.blogspot.com/2015/04/mont-st-michel-and-st-malo.html
Living after the manner of happiness. Wednesday, April 08, 2015. Mont St. Michel and St. Malo. Mont St. Michel was the destination in mind when we planned this trip. And it did not disappoint. This was our first view of the abbey from the parking lot. From Wikipedia, "According to legend, the Archangel Michael. Appeared in 708 to St. Aubert. The bishop of Avranches. It really is awesome looking though. I took a lot of pictures. The fitbit said we climbed 34 flights of stairs. Originally this giant hamste...

Anderson Family Blog: February 2015
http://anderson-family-blog.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Living after the manner of happiness. Thursday, February 19, 2015. Can you hear me now? This girl. We love her so much, but sometimes it is very hard to get her attention, especially if she is reading. "Charlotte, CHARLOTTE, Earth to Charlotte! The doctor's recommended course of action was in two parts. First, she will grow out of it- probably sooner than later. And secondly, nose balloons. Charlotte and I looked at each other when she said this, like, "did she just say what I think she said? Moscow, Rus...

Anderson Family Blog: Easter 2015
http://anderson-family-blog.blogspot.com/2015/04/easter-2015.html
Living after the manner of happiness. Wednesday, April 08, 2015. Easter was a wee bit different this year. We went to the Primary Easter egg hunt and picnic at our church the weekend before Easter. Jakey and I filled 500 plastic eggs for this shindig! We set up a few other games (beanbag toss, petanque, etc) and the kiddos all had a really good time. It was fun to have a laid back event to visit with people. And, of course, eat candy. I wish I could've gotten a closer picture of her. My Missionary Son Re...

Anderson Family Blog: November 2014
http://anderson-family-blog.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Living after the manner of happiness. Monday, November 24, 2014. A taste of 20 questions. When we are driving in the car seems to be when I have some of the most interesting conversations with the kiddos. I don't know exactly why this is. maybe the lack of other distractions for them, maybe because they feel they have me cornered? 1 How many planets is there in space? 2 What is every single thing in the world made of? 3 What are different kinds of rocks called? 4 How many mountains are there on the Earth?
