Sunday, February 26, 2012. This was our first helicopter ride and Charlie liked it. Fur Rondy has started and this was one of the things you can do for $50.00 a person for a six minute ride; Charlie got to go for free. From downtown Anchorage we flew over the inlet and back, it was a blast! Our picture was taken after the flight, if you couldn't tell by all of our big smiles. And yes, Emily and I got to wear the head set. Saturday, February 18, 2012. Now it is time to give him a big boy bed.

Saturday, March 10, 2012. Today we went to the Alaska Aviation Museum for our first time and it was really good! Watching a video from airplane seats. Bush pilots of the past. Will Rogers and Wiley Post died in August of 1935, in a plane crash up in Pt. Barrow. Charlie having fun in the flight simulator. Old skies for airplanes. Walking to the next hanger, still to much snow and it was cold around 15 degrees. Sitting in a old helicopter. The view looking East. March 27, 2012 at 6:32 PM.

Ed and Ruth Gustavson Family Blog. November 22, 2008. Nancy is staying at a hotel in Seattle. Nancy had been having a cough for several weeks/months, so she went to see her doctor in Sitka. She has had an MRI of her brain and that was negative. The doctors are saying there is no evidence of cancer in any major organs, and they remain very encouraging and optimistic.
