The Cat Rules: September 2008
http://thecatrules.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 17, 2008. Tagged me for the seven random thoughts meme, so here we go. 1 This is the first meme that I have been part of. I have been lucky not to be tagged before (that my foggy tired brain can remember) in blogworld. This had been a good thing cos I have trouble writing interesting stuff on my blog. The seven people I would like to know more about are:. Monday, September 15, 2008. Remember, add the washing powder. Next time I decide to quickly put the washing on while my porridge i...

The Cat Rules: Decisions...rotten damn things
http://thecatrules.blogspot.com/2009/01/decisionsrotten-damn-things.html
Sunday, January 18, 2009. Decisions.rotten damn things. My last car was a Laser, also a reliable car. Until I spent loads on it and it still decided that it wasn't going to go up hills without hugely backfiring and dying. That was not long after I started my first nursing job. I got totally pissed off with that car as you could imagine, and bought the Corolla on the way home from work one day! This time I want to take a bit longer to decide what to buy. I am doing a scarf. I must be enjoying the challeng...

The Cat Rules: Merry Christmas
http://thecatrules.blogspot.com/2008/12/merry-christmas.html
Wednesday, December 24, 2008. Hope you all have a great day tomorrow, whether it be close to family or far away from them. I know I will have a great day, my wonderful Mum makes her delicious Christmas Pudding while watching the Christmas Eve carols. Can't wait to eat it tomorrow. Oh Trudi - that's the kind of thing that happens to me - I'm looking for yarn or fabric and then find it MONTHS after I gave up on it! I think I have naughty fairies in this house. Hope you had a great Christmas yesterday.

The Cat Rules: June 2010
http://thecatrules.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 19, 2010. Is it that time already? I decided to do something about the unhealthy eating I was doing, and bought a 5.5L slow cooker today (15% off). It is a version with a timer. So hopefully that will come in handy. I also bought a 24cm Le Chasseur cast iron casserole dish (50% off) from DJs, so I can cook things on the stove or the oven. I am aiming to have fill-up-the-freezer days, by using the slow cooker and the dutch oven I'll be able to make a soup and a casserole. Stuff I write about.

The Cat Rules: July 2008
http://thecatrules.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 20, 2008. It's raining, it's pouring. It has started to rain outside, which sort of justifies not going to stitch and bitch, but sitting at home and stitching instead. I was being a well behaved addict until I saw the Moda Sunshine Range by April Cornell. The fabric that jumped out at me was this lovely piece of paisley. It is a pity that once again I am missing SNB (this time in Civic), but I am really pleased that I am inspired to do some patchwork. Since I moved into my place in May l...

The Cat Rules: I think I have been possessed.....
http://thecatrules.blogspot.com/2009/05/i-think-i-have-been-possessed.html
Saturday, May 23, 2009. I think I have been possessed. By a strange new addiction! I have never liked exercise, so much so that I usually do anything to avoid it. I usually joke that I only run for vomit bowls (in my job as a nurse), or for drugs/blood etc. Last year a gym opened a few minutes drive from my house. I decided that I would join up, to try to get fit. The advantage with this gym is that it is on the way home from work, so in theory I could go there on the way home from work. Subscribe to: Po...

I'm off to see. The joys of caesars. The hat I am making is the Lucky Seven. The Cat Rules: Wrap me up
http://thecatrules.blogspot.com/2009/05/wrap-me-up.html
Thursday, May 21, 2009. Ok, it has been too long. I have been up to lots in the last 3 (is it really that long) months, and have meant to post about it here but just not quite got there. I thought that since I am avoiding going to bed, I could post some updated photos of my Clapotis now. The retreat wa a month ago? I'm going to have to look into Bathurst as well. So handy that it's just up the road and not across the country! May 22, 2009 at 11:25 AM. Oh that is a gorgeous looking clappy. Well done!

The Cat Rules: June 2008
http://thecatrules.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 5, 2008. Not so wrapped in my wrap. Can't believe it has been a month since I posted last - gee I'm slack! Yesterday the horrible migraine came to visit me so I had the day off work to try to shake it. I am still not feeling so crash hot, but heaps better than yesterday. If only I could avoid the "migraine hangover" that I can often get for a couple of days after a migraine. I started a new project this morning. It is the prismatic scarf. Before I forget, Bundy.
