http://patchsinclair.com/2014/06/27/she-led-her-circle-science
Skip to Main Content. SHE LED HER: circle science. Here’s a little belated post to reflect on ‘She Led Her’ which was organised by the wonderful Kim Siew Gogan. If you are not familiar with or deep in lust of her work, then you need to check it out here. The 8 female artists were Akisiew (Kim), Oksana Valentelis, Melody Willis, Katherine Johnson, Rhian Bird, Jordan Clarke, Brooke Trezise and myself. 15% of all works sold were donated to IWDA. They sent us a thank you picture – so nice!

a pocket for all things heavy: August 2010
http://akisiew.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
A pocket for all things heavy. Tuesday, 10 August 2010. I was lucky enough to have life introduce me to Hazzy Bee. Who leant me his cans of paint and let me help in covering over a fence that he'd painted before. I was like a little kid, it was so much fun working on a wall together and seeing what went from the small page of our sketchbook to a fence on public view. And so the addiction began. a pocket for all things heavy: Painting Hazy Dreams in Newtown
http://akisiew.blogspot.com/2011/10/painting-hazy-dreams-in-newtown.html
A pocket for all things heavy. Monday, 10 October 2011. Painting Hazy Dreams in Newtown. I finished painting a mural with Hazzy Bee on Saturday. It was for a private home in Newtown and we had such fun doing it. It was a ginormous blank white canvas and it took us about 3 days to complete it.although more like a month because we were painting it on our day off from work and trying to beat the rain. These are my fuzzy thoughts, photos, moments and projects. To purchase original artwork.

a pocket for all things heavy: April 2011
http://akisiew.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
A pocket for all things heavy. Tuesday, 26 April 2011. Hazzy Bee and I are working on a new mural. This one's for the Australia Street Infant's School in Camperdown. It's not quite finished yet, but we're getting there - trying to squeeze it all in when working 6 days a week and hoping it's not going to rain on that one day off! It's all fun though and it's always a pleasure painting out in a public space and hearing people's responses to what we're painting - we both love a chat! Sunday, 24 April 2011.

A pocket for all things heavy. Sunday, 20 February 2011. Found in 'Sydney City News', a free, independent local newspaper by a customer at the cafe I work in. I may have done a happy dance around the cafe which consisted of hands in the air and a bit of a run and perhaps a shoddy moon walk. or I may not have. can't seem to remember. Friday, 18 February 2011. And they fell from the sky and we covered our eyes cos our hearts couldn't hold the pain. Wednesday, 16 February 2011. And I like it! No Room For Lo...
