Investment casting, also known as lost-wax casting, is one of the oldest known metal forming techniques dating back 5000 years, when beeswax was used for pattern making. The process has evolved since then and today it is used for casting complex parts in different alloys. The Akrapovič Company realized the potential of this process a few years ago and the decision was made to add a Titanium Investment casting to existing range of advanced technologies which are used for production of exhaust systems.
