We ran 3 games during the course of the day,with 4, 8, and then 10 players respectively. The first game was time limited to 45 minutes, with 2 squads of 4 soldiers per side, but in the event produced a complete wipeout within 40 minutes. Have had a few questions, at Salute, and also on Frothers, about how long the boards took to make. Its only a rough guess, but i'd estimate that the boards, plus buildings etc took approx. 100 hours to build/paint (obviously spread over a period of months). Costwise, the project breakdown is as follows:. MDF boards - 12mm/6mm - £45. High Density Insulation foam - £20.

The boards now have 6" square spaces for the building templates to sit in, and i've built up the raised areas, to give more of a feel for the different levels of terrain. Sunday, 21 July 2013. The figures I've made so far can be summarised as follows:. L-R) Garrison Commander and Bodyguard. L-R) Aide/Medical Officer/Vehicle Commander. 1 sniper (carbine with suppressor, scope and folded bipod). 8 troopers in body armour equipped with blasters, ropes, seismic devices, demo charges, knives and a rocket launcher (plus 2 copies of the 6 head sprue, and 2 copies of the alternative weapon sprue). 3 male figures in long robes, could be suitable as court flunkies, priests etc.
