About this Site
http://www.wildflowerlense.com/about.html
The Wildflower Lense is a personal site with a personal perspective on wildflower identification and plant photography. The site is an elementary example of a very important new effort to simplify the process of matching a plant to its correct scientific name through the use of live plant images. The examples of this effort that are the very best are the two plant image sites - Missouri Plants. Created by Dan Tenaglia. For a scholarly description of this effort look to the work of Dr. Steven Baskauf.
