The Alabama Veterans Museum and Archives is located at 100 West Pryor Street in Athens Alabama near the Athens State University and the downtown square of historic Athens. From Highway 31 turn west on Pryor Street (located across from the Athens High School stadium, and continue until crossing the railroad tracks. The museum is immediately on your right in the old L&N Railroad depot. Ample parking.

On June14th, the Alabama Veterans Museum, with the assistance of Ken Wilson of the Southeastern Saddle Club, will have their 3rd Annual Col. Sam Gibbons Memorial Horse Show at the Sheriff's Arena on Highway 99 to benefit the Museum.
