Saturday, August 1, 2009. To pass the time waiting and wondering which little Princess will join our family, Tyanna and I occasionally went shopping for her. Because my heart was so set on a 3 year old, we have been shopping for size 3T. Oh, if we are wrong, the poor Princess will end up naked. Another day of shopping came and went. they seemed to come and go all to frequently. On one of our shopping excursions, we found a Giraffee bath towel. We were excited. super excited. UNTIL, we...Now what do I do?

Sunday, April 12, 2009. A Bedroom for a Princess (or two). It's Easter Sunday, 2010. This photo was taken and added to this blog on 7/19/2012. Amaris has been home 3 weeks. she is 2 years and 5 months old. Gabriella has been home 2 years. she is 5 years and 7 months old. My vision did NOT have two sweet little princesses in matching clothes,. But I did know that they had dark hair to their shoulders and tan-skin. The older girl turned and ran in the field behind her. How do I know? God was working on his...

Monday, October 12, 2009. The Vision of the Lavender Rose. October 12, 2009…. I said, “I think I am worried about Gabriella and whether or not she will be beautiful to us.” The whole conversation and my thought process seemed rather ridiculous because I have so much faith in God, that doubting such a simple thing was just not lining up with how big my God is. Kristy and I had a brief conversation and then we went back in to the meeting. 8220;I see a delicate lavender rose that you have placed your hands ...

Thursday, November 26, 2009. Mommy Prays for a Ladybug. Our papers were sent to China on Thanksgiving Day 2009. We know that they arrived because our agency contacted us to let us know. I have heard stories of people waiting and waiting and waiting. often, not hearing anything for months about the process in their adoption. I sent up a simple prayer. "God, would you please send me a ladybug when our papers are on their way? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Our Family the Day Gabriella Came Home! Their celebra...

Princess Gabriella Grace: A Day of Words with Gabriella
http://sweetprincessgabriella.blogspot.com/2013/08/a-day-of-words-with-gabriella.html
Monday, August 19, 2013. A Day of Words with Gabriella. Gabriella has loved being a big sister to her "besta friend" Amaris. I decided to follow the girls around and write down some of their phrases. These are some of the things that Gabriella is saying right now:. Fow-fer" (I want a GIANT "flower" on my head, not a bow! Where's my smock so I can eat? More wader" (I want more water please). Uh-mare-jay" (Her pronounciation of "Amaris"). No Belle eat me food! She is telling the dog not to eat her food).

Saturday, February 20, 2010. Fed Ex for $150. It's the week of my 40th birthday. We wanted to send Gabriella a care package. I shopped and put in 4 disposable cameras, 2 sun dresses, some jelly bellies, toothbrushes and organic toothpaste, a monkey toy with our pictures in it, and an album for Gabriella with our family photos in it. Thursday, January 14, 2010. God Brought Me My Ladybug! January 14, 2010. This is the letter I wrote to my little preschooler who found a ladybug in his house and told his family it was "Mrs. Fouts' ladybug.". I had not told ANYONE, except my husband, about my prayer for a ladybug, because I didn't want ANYONE to bring me an unsolicited (non-God) ladybug. Dear Aiden and Family,. Your little ladybug on Thursday, January 14th, was a gift from God that was to be given to me. Let me tell you how I know. Some ...

Princess Gabriella Grace: Our New Meals... Heading Vegan!
http://sweetprincessgabriella.blogspot.com/2013/04/our-new-meals-heading-vegan.html
Saturday, April 6, 2013. Our New Meals. Heading Vegan! In the last couple years, our family, which was once 4, and grew to 8 within 2 years, hasn't consumed much meat. I'm not totally sure why. Since the college kiddos don't have a say anymore, we are trying to eliminate meat, gluten, and dairy. We still will eat organic or free-range chicken and organic beef, but it's usually only a couple times a month or if we end up eating out. So, what DO we eat? I tried to take a few photos these last couple months.
