Alaia Braxton: July 2013
http://alaiabraxton.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 3, 2013. The Fox and the Girl. Two separate pieces, from two different universes. The girl was just a warm-up in coloring and the fox was something I've been wanting to experiment with. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Hello Deep Sea travellers! View my complete profile. http://alaiabraxton.blogspot.com/2014/03/steampunk-me.html
Saturday, March 8, 2014. Made a steampunk alter ego. I had played along with this 'steampunk name- game' and my name was Colonel Josephine Wraithwood. Couldn't help but create a sketch off it. I'll color it later. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Hello Deep Sea travellers! View my complete profile. Simple template. Powered by Blogger.

Alaia Braxton: August 2012
http://alaiabraxton.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 15, 2012. I honestly do not know how I pulled this out of my head. Haha. I'm usually weary when it comes to Disney art. But wasn't as tedious as I thought and I like the final product. Below is the line art and above what she would look like with coloring. Honestly I had been watching, 'Once Upon a Time' on Hulu and the idea had popped in my head. But I wanted her to be 'accruate' to the Grimm stories. SO! She is dressed to impress in 16th century Germany and she still loves that apple.

It's almost time for the yearly clean-up and interface maker-over (I personally can't wait) and I'll be trying to post on regular basis too. The tank is about to reach clear skies. *grins*. Thanks for the swim,. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Hello Deep Sea travellers! View my complete profile. Resurfacing of the Tank. Simple template. Powered by Blogger.

http://alaiabraxton.blogspot.com/2014/01/2014-here-i-come.html
Saturday, January 25, 2014. 2014 here I come! My first FINISHED illustration of this year! I played with the color and decided with a different shading technique. More of a cell drawing than 'painterly'. Fun fun fun. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Hello Deep Sea travellers! View my complete profile. 2014 here I come! Simple template. Powered by Blogger.

Alaia Braxton: June 2013
http://alaiabraxton.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 5, 2013. One of my favorite things to do is reinvent characters of favorite story books. I haven't drew anything on 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' since college and these designs just sorta popped in my head. I think what inspired me to create this, was the scene between Alice and the Cheshire Cat, "Can you stand on your head? In Disney's Alice in Wonderland. It was always my favorite scene as a kid, totally hilarious to me. :) Then from there, the ideas just started to flow.
