Walking out to the plane ( In the advertisement, RBS stands for Royal Bank of Scotland. View of Edinburgh from above as we fly to Bratislava, Slovika. Flying into Bratislava. Passport Control, which went without a question asked. From the Bratislava airport, Leslie and I took a bus to Vienna, Austria. Bratislava. Wind turnbines. Road sign. The highway was surrounded by billboards.

À Montluçon, etc. 5 juillet 2009, Vienna. Leslie in the Vienna metro. Note the magazine hanging beside her; the magazines are hanging at each window allowing passengers to peruse while they ride. All the shops were closed, as it was Sunday, and the streets of Vienna were filled predominately with tourists. There was a sudden rain shower and everyone took cover lining the outside of buildings or running into the underground. 15 juillet 2009, Paris to Edmonds via Sea-Tac. 14 juillet 2009, Montluçon to Paris.

À Montluçon, etc. 8 juillet 2009, Budapest towards Paris. Before Leslie and I began the twenty-two hour bus ride to Paris we took a quick walk around Budapest. Leslie and I eat a breakfast pastry in front of the parliament building. Castle on the Buda side of the Danube. At 3:30pm Leslie and I caught a bus and made our way west towards Paris. Danube in Budapest. Sunflowers. Looking down the aisle of the bus. Danube in Vienna, which the bus picked up more passengers. Sunset from the bus.

À Montluçon, etc. 9 juillet 2009, Paris to Montluçon. At a rest stop near Reims, the Champagne region, the bus stopped and we stretched our legs before making the final leg to Paris. Leslie and I arrived at the bus depot in Paris at about 1:30pm and went to the train station to change the train tickets, as we hadn't attended to arrive in Paris until the 16th. Tickets were changed to a 7:03pm departure from gare d'Austerlitz back to Montluçon. In the meantime, Leslie and I walked through Paris.
