Saturday, January 12, 2013. A quick, not very informative update. I had a couple of weeks when I didn't vomit nearly as much for whatever reason. It was a welcome break. I seem to be back to my "normal" amount again, however. They had their 6 month check up appointments with the doctor- and both are in perfect health. Colby is 17 lbs 14 oz and 27 1/2" long. He is in the the 45th percentile for "term" babies for height and weight- they are no longer on the preemie chart! Colby loves his toes.

Tuesday, March 25, 2014. My post in October indicated that my health was poor. It never got better. in fact, it has continued to get worse. Since last fall, I've managed to get down to 102 lbs- less than I weighed in the fifth grade. Ridiculous. My days are filled with vomiting and my nights are filled with pain medicine and tears. Thursday, October 17, 2013. Fallen off the deep end. Although I have fallen off the deep end in my blog posting, it is not because a million new things have not happened in our lives. The kids continue to grow and change each day. Each time I think about updating the blog, the task seems daunting, and I put it off. until tomorrow. Sadly, I just haven't made time. UNTIL NOW. Thursday, May 1, 2014. How am i doing, you ask? These past few weeks have been nothing short of a miracle, in my opinion. While I was in the hospital, I dropped more weight, and got down under 100 lbs. I looked a little skeletal, but remained cautiously optimistic about my recovery. If you're considering have twins and then having surgery, I wouldn't really recommend it. It's not exactly. And yes, the doctor said it was okay. :). So, how good is good, you ask? All I've got to say is. THANK YOU, JESUS!

Friday, August 3, 2012. 6 weeks on Sunday. Yesterday was the kid's due date. It's hard to believe how much growing and changing they've done outside of the womb in that short amount of time. I'm so proud of how hard they keep trying, and how much they're growing! They're doing so well, that the doctor lowered them both to a 22 calorie formula, rather than the 24 calorie formula that we've been supplementing their breast milk with since birth. Nice job team! Sunday, November 4, 2012. Kinley rolled over for the first time on 10/31. Not to be outdone, Colby rolled the morning of 11/1. Both babies are super smiley, healthy, adorable, and love to chat and giggle at their mama. Thank you, God. They have also started skipping a night time feed on occasion. Monday, September 24, 2012. Never a dull moment. Kinley has been sleeping peacefully all the way home from the Tri-Cities. Colby has slept, chatted, read stories, held his mamas hand, held his daddys hand, eaten a snack, and had a poopy diaper explosion all before we made it to the Thorp fruit stand. Friday, July 12, 2013. I think I might be tired. We've also experienced a lot of "firsts" at our house. The kids are both walking well, and starting to talk. Every time we see a dog, one of them will point and say "DOHW" or something similar. And then I follow up with, "what does a dog say? The kids answer, "roo, roo." It's adorable.
