Food and the Fury. Monday, April 18, 2011. Obsessive Compulsive Brussels Sprouts. 8220;We kids feared many things in those days - werewolves, dentists, North Koreans, Sunday School - but they all paled in comparison with Brussels sprouts.” -. Not lose the game, but let's be honest here and just admit, if you're playing D&D,. You probably aren't a candidate of "Most Awesome Person Ever" Award. Leave that to those of us who are Judgy McJudgerson and blog before 6am, buddy. Anyway, inspired by my friend Tim...

Empty Handed...: Justin Bieber #dontjudge
http://katiescott321.blogspot.com/2013/01/justin-bieber-dontjudge.html
Friday, January 18, 2013. Some of you already know. Who am I kidding? If you're reading this blog, then you know that my amazing boyfriend took me to see Justin Bieber in Denver our first week back from the Christmas and New Year holiday. It. Was. Awesome. I don't care what anybody thinks or says, we had a great time (and yes, WE is the correct word). All I can say is, my man loves me! All that to say, he makes my heart full and I am so thankful that God saw fit to place this amazing man in my life!

Tuesday, January 25, 2011. Q TP #3 - God Save Us All. 8206; "There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily.". Does anyone feel a tad nervous when watching anything about politics on TV. And by a tad nervous I mean, pee-your-pants scared that our country has seen it's best years and our generation has nothing to look forward to but the perishing of a country that use to be something special? Labels: Q-TP (quotes to ponder). Monday, January 24, 2011. One day at a time.

Tuesday, August 14, 2012. 365 days later words. I just happened stumble upon my blog (I'm surprised I can still find it after a bit of a hiatus), and realized that today is the exact day that my dad and I left Virginia last year and headed for Colorado. Is that really possible? A YEAR has gone by already? Gulp* Where in the world did the time go? Second to do something other than school work. I love dry weather compared to humidity, and so does my hair. It's okay to give myself grace. I am not a winter s...

Thursday, July 28, 2011. On Second Thought.Day 18. I certainly wouldn't have wasted my time, energy and emotions on a couple ex-boyfriends. What about that time I grabbed a pair sweats out of the dryer and headed to my league basketball game and after the game while talking to the guys, put them on only to have a pair of leopard skin under ware. Fly out the bottom. Of the leg right smack dab in the middle of our huddle.* ".just a little edit right there and a delete over here.PERFECT! Okay, Okay, I will ...

Food and the Fury. Monday, May 9, 2011. Mama's Day: How to Spell Flavor (L-O-V-E). The trick is to taste your food. Which isn't really a trick." - My Mom. Ok, that may be my interpretation of what I consider one of the greatest lessons my mother taught me growing up: to savor. She is seasoned with passion, dignity, and love. My favorite childhood memories seem to involve food- I remember as a kid eating "ants on a log" (raisins on pb stuffed celery) outside on our patio underneath the Alabama sun, the ma...

Food and the Fury. Tuesday, November 22, 2011. SoIn keeping with my last post. Welcome to the world Isak Dylan. I also found out my dog Tripoli died. I was so sad. Devastated, really. Food and the Fury. Wednesday, April 20, 2011. I Put Cukes in My Water Bottle. The cucumber accents the water in such a way that." - Will Ferrell. I knew none of you would believe me so I put the link of my homeboy Will's quote. Yesterday, I decided a great idea would be to add cucumbers to my water bottle. To give it a little extra freshness and crispness. I usually like it with lemon/lime, and some herbs as well (try it, it's delicious! Then it hit me. Did I really panic at work? Was it called for?
