Yoga for Stress Reduction: Week 4. 5 peeps showed up tonight. this was our last class of the 4 week course. i love teaching this course and working with this group. they ask such intelligent questions. tonight's practice with focused around the feet and balance work. here's what we did:. Transition onto all fours. Pelvic tilt and spinal movement. Side stretch on both sides. Roll up to standing. Shoulder rolls and shrugs. Internal vs external rotation. Walk forward to release.

A- waking state of consciousness. U- dreaming state of consciousness. M- deep sleep state of consciousness. The mantram (the silence after the AUM) is the superconscious state of turiya. This is the first stanza of the Mandukya Upanishad:. AUM stands for the supreme Reality. It is a symbol for what was, what is,. 4 part breath awareness.
