Zufelt Family Feb 2015. Sunday, September 28, 2014. Halawa Food Experiment of the Day. I've seen this on occasion around but never in force like here. Halawa seems to come in all varieties so of course I decided halawa with chocolate was a good way to test it out. The halawa packages show it spread on bread and also cut into slices and served like a cake with tea. The whole thing was under $5 USD and about the size of a hockey puck in cake form. Our household belongings are now sea freight and on the ocean slowly making their way to Houston. This morning Ashlyn asked us, "Where's Johnny? He left this morning on a cruise with his family so Ben told her he is on a boat. "OHHHH! With our stuff." I hope his cruise accommodation is a little bit better than a freighter. Especially when my kids are talking so slow that I have a hard time paying attention and staying focused on them. For instance today Madison was talking slowly as she asked a question about math and I was losing concentration. She said, "Hoooowwww doooooo I." To which I responded in song, "live without you?
