I trained and worked as a Design Engineer for many years. Began making pots in 1965. Left engineering to train as an. Teacher at Neville's Cross College, Durham. Taught art and. Craft pottery at a comprehensive school in Gateshead. Left. Full time teaching to work as a self employed potter in my own. Studio workshop at Washington Arts Centre for 20years. Was a founder member of the Northern Potters Asso. Now work. From home studio making one off smoke decorated pots. Exhibited extensively over the years.
