I'm a third year PhD student, currently studying at the Bristol Robotics Laboratory. Having obtained a BSc in Computer Science from the University of York I spent time working as a computer games programmer for Electronic Arts. Looking for a change of direction I completed an MSc in Robotics with UWE. The project is funded by the Leverhulme Trust, and aims to develop control software for the BERT humanoid torso so that it can manipulate everyday objects, in order to read any text that may be on them.
