Alaska Bounty | Our Heritage
http://www.alaskabounty.com/heritage.html
Native Alaskans have always shown innovation and resourcefulness. Alaska Bounty is an Alaska Native and women-owned business. Our ancestors have practiced subsistence in this region for over 9,000 years. They learned to live with the land and its resources. We intend to follow in this tradition and use available resources to improve soil fertility, thus increasing subsistence opportunities through agricultural production. To top of page.

Our commitment to sustainability. Aside from our commitment to sustainably harvested seafood, Alaska Bounty is committed to reducing waste discharged into the river system and solid waste deposited in landfills. By utilizing unused portions of the salmon, we are reducing the amount of fish waste ground and discharged in the Naknek River and the Bristol Bay. To top of page.

Wednesday, September 12, 2012. September 12, 2012. Posted by Kathy Heinle @ 10:43 AM. Friday, September 7, 2012. Friday, September 7, 2012. Well, our adventure is almost to an end.We have toured the Redwoods and have also had a great time in the Napa/Sonoma wine valley and San Francisco. We were able to see some great wineries and the beautiful vineyards. I got a chance to experience the breadth of these giant trees. We spent an afternoon touring the Benziger winery. Took a tram through the vineyards.
