Slikok Creek Grange #12 (Soldotna/Kenai). Waiting for history.) Chartered 2008. Slikok Creek is between Soldotna and Kenai on Kalifornsky Beach Road. Slikok is a Kenaitze name and because there is good farm land in that area, after WWII land from there was offered to returning soldiers. Kenai, Soldotna, and Ninilchik, Alaska. Two Rivers Grange #3 (Two Rivers). Purpose: To educate and develop leadership in the community. Come join us for a scare or two in the Two Rivers Haunted House. Refreshments and snacks will be served in the Grange. $2 per person to get into the Haunted House! This state grange meeting was held at North Pole Grange #6, May 1, 2010. Special guests were Jimmy Gentry, president of the North Carolina State Grange and board member of the National Grange, and his wife, Anita. Anita spoke on the degree rituals of the Grange, and Jimmy addressed broader issues of the Grange and answered questions about the lawsuits over the Grange name. The delegates approved a resolution, which has been posted and can be accessed here. Full minutes can be accessed at the right.
