Trader Joe's was out of artichokes, so I ran to the gourmet store nearby and spent a ridiculous amount on a single large artichoke [about the price of 4 med ones from Trader Joe's]. But when you have chokes on the mind it was a worthy expense. Steamed artichoke, bagna cauda. Plain melted Earth Balance [not shown] and sauteed onions. Yum. Washing the bath toys.
