Living In The Great Land. Steamer Yukon at Nenana. Saturday, June 18th, 2005. The reason it’s been so quiet here is that a day after getting back to Juneau I came down with a vicious summer cold. I’ve been laying on the couch, drinking mint tea, coughing, and watching two weeks of gorgeous sunny Juneau summer slide by outside my window.
