http://randy-joyofdiscovery.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 18, 2013. Springtime in Christchurch, a fantastic time to visit. I was there for a week waiting for my flight to McMurdo, Antarctica (that never came) and enjoyed the spring like weather, the green, green grass and the friendly fun people who inhabit this beautiful city that's suffered so much. Punting on the Avon. Sign in store window, well said. Kiwi Hagglunds at the Antarctic Center. USAP hanger in Christchurch. Beautiful place and amazing architecture. Kiwi humor, awesome.

Sunday, December 21, 2014. ANITA III, LDB, NASA and CSBF. ANITA III Launch, LDB, Long Duration Balloon facility, McMurdo, Antarctica. The Antarctic Impulsive Transient Antenna (ANITA) experiment has been designed to study ultra-high-energy (UHE) cosmic neutrinos by detecting the radio pulses emitted by their interactions with the Antarctic ice sheet. This is to be accomplished using an array of 32 radio antennas suspended from a helium balloon flying at a height of about 120,000 feet. I love to travel, i...

Sketches of Alaska: Kantishna’s Busia cabin exudes Alaskan ambiance
http://sketchesofalaska.blogspot.com/2012/03/kantishnas-busia-cabin-exudes-alaskan.html
Ray Bonnell's art and ramblings in Interior Alaska. Saturday, March 31, 2012. Kantishna’s Busia cabin exudes Alaskan ambiance. Nestled at the base of tundra-covered mountains in Kantishna.
