Navigating Juneau: January 2011
http://alaskasealions.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Lifeone raindrop at a time. January 30, 2011. Finally. . . It has been awhile, I know, but not because I haven't been writing blog posts. Just because I haven't been posting them. Things are good here. Quiet, but that is nice. We are headed into the slump, the beginning of the time when winter seems to last forever, and even I start planning imaginary vacations to Hawaii or Mexico. Except, I guess, I do have a honeymoon to accomplish, so maybe it is not entirely fantastic. The other salesguy seemed to th...
Navigating Juneau: December 2014

Lifeone raindrop at a time. December 01, 2014. View from the harbor this morning. View from my office this morning. I know, it's amazing. Today was clear, and tonight another storm is supposed to roll through, giving us about 4 more inches. Then the weather is supposed to turn to rain, like it does. I managed to coax one picture out of my camera battery before it froze to death. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Juneau, Alaska, United States. Sometimes it's as if we never left. Navigating Juneau: Harbor buddies
http://alaskasealions.blogspot.com/2015/01/harbor-buddies.html
Lifeone raindrop at a time. January 25, 2015. I know they look small, but there are a lot there. Also, I took this a while ago, when there was still ice in the harbor. During the winter, when most of the boats are gone, several harbor seals haul out on the docks of the harbor we live in. They are skittish and tend to dive into the water when people walk by, but I managed to get a shot of them from above. On this day I counted 42 of them. Mostly these guys just swim around and look cute. We had a busy week.
Navigating Juneau: March 2011
http://alaskasealions.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Lifeone raindrop at a time. March 25, 2011. Almost out of hibernation. Soon I will start writing real posts again. Probably. Here's a quick one for you:. Spring is slowly making its way here. It's sunny, and above freezing, so the snow pack is melting off. Cautiously. There is much more daylight than there once was. The tour buses are out in circulation, and dangerous with new drivers. I even saw an RV today, but I think it is here for Gold Medal. That's pretty much the news. Hockey, hockey hockey.
Navigating Juneau: November 2014
http://alaskasealions.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Lifeone raindrop at a time. November 27, 2014. November 03, 2014. We have been slacking at phone calls lately because we have been so busy during the hours that most people are awake, so I wanted to give you a little update. I have been forgetting my camera most of the time lately (which is good for you, because today's photo would have been the gross and disintegrating pumpkin that is just inside the front door of my work) so no pictures this time. Theater: Chicago is opening on Friday! That's about it&...
