December 26, 2016. Elsa Sebastian recently joined the AWF board of directors after several years of part-time work with the organization. A captain, commercial fisherman, lifelong Alaskan and environmentalist Elsa is eager to continue to contribute to AWF as a volunteer. The spouts of humpback whales that have forgone winter migration to Hawaii catch the light on a cold December afternoon. Photo taken in Sitka Alaska by Zaide Allen. Here are just a few of the projects we're looking forward to:. Our field...

Welcome to our Summer Field Team! June 29, 2016. Dana is from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She spends most of the year bundled up against the Canadian winter, and frequently escapes to the mountains to go cross-country skiing, canoeing, and hiking. Dana feels so lucky to be joining AWF this summer. She is looking forward to exploring the Alaskan wilderness, being part of an amazing organization, and spending quality time with her favourite animal the humpback whale. Maeve has a keen interest in photography,...

DONATE — ALASKA WHALE FOUNDATION

http://www.alaskawhalefoundation.org/donate

Alaska Whale Foundation is able to achieve its research, education and conservation objectives in the remote wilderness of Southeast Alaska because of supporters who are as passionate about our mission as we are. Individual donors provide most of the funding for AWFs various programs. Through their generosity, the AWF team is able to dedicate uncompromising effort towards timely research, conserving marine mammals and their habit, and supporting passionate students. 坎特布里平原上吃草的羊: Two weeks in US

http://mikiryang.blogspot.com/2010/04/two-weeks-in-us.html

Sunday, April 18, 2010. Two weeks in US. After spending two weeks in US, things start to get funny. Mum and Sis start to have small conflicts. They argue over food, tidiness of the house, political stands and even Oliver. Mum has been in control in the household for very long. So even when she's here, she wants to be in charge. Though Sis and I hope that she can just enjoy her 'long stay' here, it seems like no matter how we plead her not to do certain things, she just can't stop. May 2, 2012 at 5:23 AM.

坎特布里平原上吃草的羊: March 2009

http://mikiryang.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html

Wednesday, March 18, 2009. Tuesday, March 3, 2009. 好像很多事情要做, 却不知道怎么开始。 R说我三心二意,或许是吧。我今天坚持这样, 明天又会觉得那样比较好。 Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
