Metamorphose | Albert Meijers

Packaging design, illustration, concrete gifts …. A bit like my pencil drawings but in this case designed in Adobe illustrator. Some of these were used in a tradefair stand for Leolux furniture. Bubbles | Albert Meijers

Packaging design, illustration, concrete gifts …. The seed for these photos was planted a long time ago when I was looking at bubbles in a jar of gel. Only lately I got to it to do some experimenting. With some special tricks we (Krijn Hendriksen and I) got all sorts of funky results. A whole new world, looking up close. Almost science fiction. Folding | Albert Meijers

Packaging design, illustration, concrete gifts …. When there is time left I like to do some folding-experiments. It is fascinating how a flat piece of paper can be formed into a three dimensional object or pattern. I folded some of the objects from rust-proof metal and aluminium. My other hobby, hiking through the mountains, gives plenty of opportunities to take some nice pictures. Keep your eyes open in your own garden as well. It’s a jungle out there. This because of the availability, prize and ease of use of the material. I cover the whole process myself: design, model making, mould making, production and packaging. Experimenteren met materialen en hun eigenschappen. Dat lijkt de rode draad in zowel mijn productvormgeving als in mijn macrofotografie. Meer over mijn werk is te vinden op:. Vooral sinds Albert me kennis liet maken met z’n bubbelexpirementen en ik er mn RGB ledlampen zijn we op reis in een onbekende vreemde wereld. To boldly go where no man has gone before.
