Al blogs about stuff now. Like the title says, I'm Al and I blog about stuff now. It’s a Thursday. May 23, 2013. It’s a Thursday. Crikey! It seems like only a few days ago it was the weekend. And it seems like the coming weekend is days away too. I guess it’s probably a good time to find something to do instead of procrastinating. Or is procrastinating classed as the ‘doing of nothing’ and therefore still counts as ‘doing’, thus not actually lazy? How can we truly relax when we keep trying to do things?

Of Faith and Reason. Radiation #1,2,3. April 5, 2013. It has only been 3 days since I started radiation treatment. For my brain tumours. But already it has been a bit of an experience. It started on Wednesday with my first visit to the radiation chamber where I was going to be coming each weekday for the next 2 weeks. I began my first treatment with some ideas about possible side effects but nothing I could definitely say was going to happen. I also got a prescription for some drugs – Dexamethasone.

Friday, October 28, 2011. Schleich's year so far and 2012 plans. Having held The Smurfs licence for 50 years, Schleich’s sales were boosted by the recent box office hit. But there have been a number of other changes throughout 2011. The most recent big news from Schleich was the promotion of Gary Wilmot to country manager after five years with the company. However, the team was also boosted by the appointment of Michelle Rhodes to national account manager and Laura Bull (pictured) as marketing manager.
