Lucy Bloom: March 2013
http://lucybloom.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Friday, 29 March 2013. This is the extent of my Easter decorating. I don't decorate very much but I do have some nice painted eggs and other bits that I like to put out. Now the time has come, do you think I can find them? I remember coming across them a few weeks ago and making a mental note of where they were - ha! That's not unusual for me, I can rarely find anything when I want it, usual story - too much stuff, not enough room. Ah well, I did find these few things. Links to this post. I was inspired ...

Lucy Bloom: May 2013
http://lucybloom.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Friday, 3 May 2013. It's been lovely to see some sunshine this week - trade has picked up a bit in the shop and we are seeing more visitors. I've had a busy week, we are selling a lot of plants now which means more trips to the nursery. I love these little book racks, you can still sometimes find them at a reasonable price at the usual thrifting haunts. I always pick them up when I see them, quite often they are home made. A bit of distressing and some rose decals as a finishing touch. This is my weekend...

Lucy Bloom: June 2011
http://lucybloom.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Monday, 13 June 2011. For various reasons my blog has had to be put on the back boiler for a while, but I wanted to tell you about an exciting event I'll be taking part in this weekend. You may be familiar with Ali's blog - Tales of Betty and Violet. I've met Ali a number of time at fairs we have attended, and was delighted when Ali invited me to participate in her Summer Boutique. Pop over to Ali's blog. For more information and an invite. Fingers crossed for sunshine and it should be a fabulous day.

Lucy Bloom: April 2013
http://lucybloom.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, 27 April 2013. How not to dry roses. Of course I love fresh roses, but it always seems a shame once they've wilted and I try to dry them whenever I can. These are drying on the radiator (suitably covered and with props! It's not the recommended way to dry them (I think hanging upside down in a dry, warm and dark place give greater success). However, these were in an arrangement I had been given which I forgot to water. They had already started to crisp up so just needed finishing off. Not as ex...

Lucy Bloom: December 2010
http://lucybloom.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, 23 December 2010. Despite knowing that it was coming for the past year, Christmas has snook up on me again and here I am wishing it wasn't quite so close! Still, I've managed to make the house look festive and mostly I am ready. Mr Bloom will do the last of the food shopping tomorrow and collect the turkey - ha! Rather him than me - serves him right for finishing work today while I don't finish until Friday. Links to this post. Tuesday, 14 December 2010. In fact most of the things I bought were...

Lucy Bloom: November 2010
http://lucybloom.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Monday, 8 November 2010. I am probably the last to post about the wonderful Vintage Bazaar in Frome, sometimes it takes a while but I do get round to things eventually. What can I say, it was everything I could have hoped for and more. The stallholders put on magnificent displays, the crowds kept coming and the atmosphere was amazing. I thought I had forgotten my camera, but towards the end of the day I found it so I snapped a few shots of my stall between customers. Links to this post. Welcome to my blog.

Lucy Bloom: October 2010
http://lucybloom.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 20 October 2010. I am so far behind with everything due to this nasty virus laying me low for a couple of weeks. Still, all better now, I'm overdue in posting about this event which I have signed up for. It's been organised by Elaine of the Ted and Bunny. Blog, and there is a website. Dedicated to the fair, where you can see you will be attending. I'm very excited to be part of this. Last time I posted about Violette's Cafe at Barn Antiques. A peek at the garden shop. Lucy Bloom: February 2014
http://lucybloom.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Monday, 24 February 2014. One down - lots to go! My first fair of the year under my belt and I had a lovely day. It being February and given the recent weather conditions, no one was very sure how the day would turn out. But the weather was good and lots of visitors came through the doors, many more than expected I think. Thank you to everyone who admired and made purchases from my stall, it made for a perfect day. I did snap a few pictures of the other stalls - this was part of Niki's. Links to this post.
