Sunday, January 05, 2014. A new year, a new lease on creative expression! Finally - FINALLY - creating again after what feels like months of artistic inertia brought on by stress, holiday obligations, tiredness, etc. So much peace and inspiration today! This journaling calendar is something I tried to do last year and got behind. I'm resolving to keep up this year. It's so easy to write a sentence or two as long as you get your monthly page done in advance. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A few choic...

Cafe Artiste: A little art journaling tonight

Sunday, August 03, 2014. A little art journaling tonight. Your journal pages look amazing! Did you paint the face? Yes, on this one I painted my own face. Some of my other journal pages were made using some Dina Wakley stamps because I took a live workshop from her recently, but mostly I prefer to paint my own. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Cafe Artiste: Accordian Art Book - no rules, just fun
http://www.cafeartistes.com/2014/10/accordian-art-book-no-rules-just-fun.html
Friday, October 17, 2014. Accordian Art Book - no rules, just fun. Finished my first Accordion Art Book for a swap. This was so much fun. No rules, no pressure - just gluing, collaging, stamping, stenciling and doodling wherever I fancied. Labels: accordian art book. Oh wow, this looks amazing. Was the swap arranged through a blog? There is a Facebook group called Art Mail Groupies. They are very active with tons of swaps. I made this accordion book for one of those swaps. Subscribe to Cafe Artiste.

Natures Walk Studio: Hiding in Plain Sight
http://hhcampbell.blogspot.com/2015/06/hiding-in-plain-sight.html
Thoughts from an artist, gardener and lover of all things green. Saturday, June 20, 2015. Hiding in Plain Sight. We found (and left) this nest sitting on ferns about an arms length off one of the trails at Whatcom Falls Park. It's the coolest thing. Babies have fledged, but I can imagine how cool it would have been to see them. It blends in and one has to really look. It's quite amazing what you see when you look around you. Natures Walk Studio: Altered Bits
http://hhcampbell.blogspot.com/2015/07/altered-bits.html
Thoughts from an artist, gardener and lover of all things green. Friday, July 31, 2015. I taught a demo last week at the local art store, Stampadoodle and the Paper Cafe. And one of the things I played with was big puzzle pieces from a floor puzzle for kids. My stash was gleaned from the free pile at an estate sale. Missing puzzle pieces? Not a problem, alter 'em!
