Green Acres Is The Place to Be. Created on 2 May 2005 (#6986822). Last updated on 28 June 2014. I'm a 30 something married girl who recently moved from Los Angeles (where I did time acting) to a small town in Washington in search of a more rural life. It's a huge change, I guess I'm like Zsa Zsa in Green Acres. I love to cook and entertain. And I absolutely love to bake. And cake decorate. I have a food blog over at The Alchemist http:/ www.alchemybaking.blogspot.com/. Complain all you want. It’s lik...

Imagine Inn: February 2009
http://imagineinn.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 18, 2009. We are happy to announce that we are the proud owners of 10 laying hens! Having the fresh eggs every morning is a real treat. I love watching them. They really have distinct personalities, just like any pet would. I am really enjoying having them. I look forward to raising other farm animals, perhaps a cow or two, I'd love a horse, and maybe even turkeys! One of our next projects is to build a big barn to house them all. Where we retrieve the eggs. Inside their new home.

http://imagineinn.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 12, 2008. It's that time of year! Our fall weather has started here in the Pacific Northwest. The air is cool and crisp and it's harvest time. It's a great time of year. I'm fortunate to have received. An abundance of grapes from a friend. I've been making lots of jelly! I've also been making many yummy goodies with apples. I even picked some apples from a wild tree on the road, ah, the pleasures of living in the country. I've made about 15 jars of grape jelly in the past few days! The Im...

Imagine Inn: We're Jammin!
http://imagineinn.blogspot.com/2008/08/were-jammin.html
Saturday, August 16, 2008. It's that time of year again, when fruit is falling off trees, and zucchini is growing to be the size of torpedoes, of course this could only mean one thing: it's time for canning! Here are a few. There was the rose petal jelly, I have a wonderful rose garden, so I figured I already have the ingredients, so I made jelly. I like the taste of rosewater in desserts, so I think it's a winner. Chunky nectarine jam and peach jam. Homemade bread. Yum. I had a guest recently try all of...

Thursday, April 10, 2008. The Imagine Inn has two new wonderful additions! Our new Greyhound, Romeo, (isn't he handsome! We have some great new additions to The Imagine Inn! He falls in love with everyone he meets. This is addition number 2, a new standby generator! If the power goes out. It's a great feeling to know that in the event of a power failure, we (and our guests) won't be going without power. Posted by The Imagine Inn. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Visit My Etsy Shop. http://imagineinn.blogspot.com/2011/03/imagine-inn-has-re-opened.html
Tuesday, March 8, 2011. The Imagine Inn Has Re-Opened! A beautiful February day. It is my great pleasure to announce that we have re-opened our doors as a bed and breakfast! We took a break for about a year, but now we're back in full swing. During the break I focused on cooking and creating recipes for my food blog, The Alchemist. Which is good news for our guests, because the food here is better than ever! So if you are attending an upcoming event, we'd love to have you stay with us! 10 March, 2011.

Baking Love: Yeah. Hi! I think I am back.
http://bites-of-love.blogspot.com/2011/12/yeah-hi-i-think-i-am-back.html
Tuesday, December 13, 2011. I think I am back. I think I must apologize to my imaginary readers, because I was gone for several months! Well, University took over me and I had troubles with two subjects that I must repeat next year, but I think I approved everything this term. I was supposes to make a laboratory practice this semester, or this summer, but I was having doubts about whether I wanted to be a scientist or not. Then I started to read about a sea slug called Elysia chlorotica. I'm a 19 years o...
