Alchemist: "Organized people are happy people"
http://alchemyoforder.blogspot.com/2012/02/organized-people-are-happy-people.html
Friday, February 10, 2012. Organized people are happy people". There are many things we all do. To create joy and happiness in our lives. When Betsy, from Closet Factory, said this at our NAPO Colorado. Meeting on Monday, I thought - I have got to share this with the world. It's true- getting organized and staying organized does make me happy. I can tell because the opposite is really true. When I feel dis-organized, I absolutely feel unhappy. Of this small, organizational project.

Wednesday, January 11, 2012. So, you're sick with this cold that everyone seems to hav. Your normal, Eco-conscious. Practice is to use your handkerchiefs to blow your nose but now, you're infectious and a "high-producer", needing to "blow" through your stash of handkerchiefs and keep the loads of laundry going. If you must use a facial tissue during times like these, I recently learned our used tissues are COMPOSTABLE. Dark GREEN option = no facial tissues purchased. Posted by Liz Canavan @ 3:14 PM.

Alchemist: Personal Trainer for your home
http://alchemyoforder.blogspot.com/2011/03/p.html
Sunday, March 6, 2011. Personal Trainer for your home. It occurred to me that organizing is a lot like getting fit. You start with feeling fed up. This has go to change". Then you take drastic action. Start a new way of eating, join a gym (buy an organizing book, search on line for professional organizers). Followed by a few days of BIG EFFORT. In the gym, in the kitchen, or clearing clutter). Then old habits kick in. I say working with an organizer is like getting liposuction. 3 Rs of Holiday Time.

Monday, April 27, 2009. My friend Mary and I are going to check in every Monday as accountability partners for our finances. We both are committed to the efforts of getting more organized with our money. So we can increase our bottom lines. Balance your books and pay bills:. Tip 1: play pleasurable music (Allison Krauss today, I thought about classical too). Tip 2: clear your desk from everything but your statements (if not online) and your laptop. Tip 3: light a candle. Wishing you financial abundance.

Alchemist: Speedy, Small, Home Audits
http://alchemyoforder.blogspot.com/2012/01/speedy-small-home-audits.html
Friday, January 20, 2012. Speedy, Small, Home Audits. I'm really into speedy organizing projects lately. Cleaning out one cabinet. In our kitchen or organizing my bags. In the office closet. These projects are great because you don't keep delaying what you know needs to be done - you just get it done! I invite you to consider doing some small audits of your spaces to see where you can quickly create some order. In a highly annoying space. Posted by Liz Canavan @ 11:03 AM.
