At Estancia La Julia 1886. A little about Alejandro. I was born into an old Argentinean family and grew up with horses on Estancia Benquerencia the family estate. I worked for a while as a rodeo rider and gaucho, and went on the last big cattle drive across Argentina. I have also travelled widely across North America breaking in horses and as a farrier. We are also near enough to Buenos Aires that you can spend a few days there as well if you wish. Come and help us celebrate our 11.

At Estancia La Julia 1886. After the match it’s time to relax and enjoy just being in a beautiful rural environment with friends old and new. Holidays are more fun with friends so why not organise a group or even a whole team. We also ave lots of activities for non players, so bring along your partners. More Organise a group. In our winter we host shooting parties for duck in the nearby Rio Salado depression. You can also shoot dove and partridge in season. There are wild boar, herds of Antelope and Axis deer in the countryside around La Julia. Estancia La Julia is in the heart of the country and there is a strong tradition of country sports with a range of hunting opportunities. We host individual and hunting parties from all over the world.

The 300 acres of La Julia is the base for Alejandro’s horse breeding programme and home for over 100 horses. Alejandro has been breeding, breaking and training polo ponies for many years. Whether you play polo or not, if you like horses, La Julia is a wonderful place to visit and enjoy a range of equine activities. Go pony trekking, spend a day with the gauchos, try carriage driving, or simply enjoy being around horses. We can provide mounts for all standards of riders.

BBQs are special in La Julia. We love to BBQ a spatchcocked a lamb or a whole rib of beef. If you like we can show you how to do it and you can help us if you would like to. The meat has a taste that will make you want to try it back home as well. Our chef will prepare you meals. We generally all eat together in the the dining room, where each evening, you can make new friends, enjoy the conversation and relive the adventures of the day.
