Monday, February 13, 2012. Brayden stayed with us for this winter's snow day. We almost made it all winter without seeing any snow so we were kinda glad to see it come. Brayden woke up super early so Pappa watched him while Nanna went back to bed. When I woke up this is what I saw. Pappa had gotten Brayden all dressed up in his snow gear and they headed outside. Monday, May 30, 2011. Sunday, May 29, 2011. Anyway we had a great time and hopefully the blurry pictures emphasize the energy this young man has. He was all over the room. He had a blast. He balanced some more. Finishing off by awarding hisself a medal and turning his back on me and the metal before I could snap the picture. Sunday, March 27, 2011. Another Seaweed Collection Trip to Texas. Yes, I got soaked on more than one occasion. But the water was not really cold. I love live oaks. I wish we had them around here. Tuesday, October 18, 2011. Last week Troy was on fall break and we took Brayden up to Van Buren. To ride the train. Troy, Ann, Brayden, and I left Bismarck on Thursday morning and traveled north to Van Buren. We spent the day checking out the park and town. We walked through the park down from Main Street. Saturday, October 23, 2010. Friday, October 15, 2010. Hot and dry. We took Brayden to the lake, but it was gone! Instead of water all we found was dirt, grass, and an old armadillo. Saturday, August 13, 2011. Ripley's Aquarium, Pigeon Forge. During our trip to Pigeon Forge we spent one morning at the Aquarium. It was amazing and everyone had a wonderful time. We saw all kinds of sea creatures. There was a moving walkway thru the main tank. There was a play area for the children. Brayden checks out the large oyster. Brody and Adam pose in the diver's suit. The boys went up into the center of one of the tanks. They even found Nemo. Playing in the Penguin tunnel. Compare father and son.

On the way to the state Park we were all amazed at the sheer number of migratory birds that filled the skies and fields.
