Lexi's Life: Rain, Rain, Go Away!!
http://lexibeattie.blogspot.com/2009/06/rain-rain-go-away.html
A ship in port is safe, but that's not what ships are built for. - Grace Murray Hopper. Monday, June 15, 2009. Rain, Rain, Go Away! We have had rain for about 2 weeks straight! The weather predicted the weekend of sunshine with rain beginning again next Monday for the remainder of the week. I am trying to keep a positive attitute so I am listing my top 10 things I love about this unusual accumulation of rain. 1 No need to water the garden.it happens automatically every night. 2 The smell after it rains.

Lexi's Life: Perception
http://lexibeattie.blogspot.com/2010/03/perception.html
A ship in port is safe, but that's not what ships are built for. - Grace Murray Hopper. Monday, March 15, 2010. Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about perception. (yes, for those of you who just sighed and said oh no, she is having one of those deep-thought days providing lots of thoughts but with no real answers, you will want to save yourself the frustration and just stop reading now…don’t worry, I won’t be offended…in fact, I will never know :). I love this quote by J.R.R. Tolkein:. You don’t un...

{This is our Life}: October 2010, etc.
http://abbyandbrentbeattie.blogspot.com/2011/01/october-2010-etc.html
This is our Life}. Sunday, January 9, 2011. October 2010, etc. This is the only picture I took on Halloween. Hello? Who knows, but for the trunk or treat Eden decided to change into a princess, she had had enough bunny hopping. I also made Ryan a toolbelt and he wore his blue overalls and a hard hat. Oh yeah, I know where I was, I was in Ogden playing in a Symphony concert. So Brent got to hand out candy and put the kids to bed. What a guy. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Brookie's Blog: Thankful...
http://alyssajacobson.blogspot.com/2010/11/thankful.html
Sunday, November 28, 2010. I haven't blogged in so long.actually have I ever really blogged? I've decided that it would be a nice way to keep some kind of a journal-(don't worry, I'll spare you the gory details ;) ) This week has been wonderful. I'm so grateful for my MANY blessings. In the spirit of the Thanksgiving season I'll share some of the things I'm thankful for. My beautiful family. What would I ever do without them? And we'd carpool into school (which was usually a tender mercy that we arrived ...

Lexi's Life: Lesson Learned
http://lexibeattie.blogspot.com/2010/03/lesson-learned.html
A ship in port is safe, but that's not what ships are built for. - Grace Murray Hopper. Monday, March 29, 2010. Interesting experience this past week that related to my thoughts on perception. I was asked to conduct a tour to a group of young men (ages 12-17) from the Juvenile Correctional Center in St. Anthony. A leader pulled me aside at the end of the tour and said, "thank you. These boys will remember this day for as long as they live." I thought to myself."really, a simple tour of a univ...I went ba...

This is our Life}. Saturday, April 24, 2010. February Catch up…. During February we played in the snow at Grandma Geniel’s, made Valentines for Laura’s class (next year we’ll be having the little paper ones like the rest of her class), Brent tried to teach Laura how to golf, and we blew bubbles indoors since it was so cold outside! This is our Life}. Thursday, December 3, 2009. I love our annual retreat. This year was wonderful too, even though it almost didn't happen! About an hour after Maren and my Mom left Rexburg to meet Sarah and I up at Wolf Creek Maren's kids got the stomach flu. They almost turned around halfway. I'm so glad they didn't!
