Sunday, July 31, 2011. Well, a lot has happened in Elsie's world since my last post.daycare, 20 week sonogram, nursery updates, carseat and stroller purchase, and GROWTH! Here is our little lady.as you can see, she is standing on her head with her chin tucked to her chest. Because of her position the doctor could not look at the development of her heart, face, or head structures. We go back in 4 weeks to complete the procedure! When her room is more "put together.". And, last but not least, belly pics!

Monday, May 30, 2011. This past Thursday, Alex and I had our 12 week doctor's appt. All was well with Baby Herbel, but the visit did not go without a scare for the (already worrisome) mother-to-be. At this appointment, we were going to hear our baby's heartbeat for the first time! I'm surprised I remembered to breathe.I was a wreck. Anywho, the little tike had definately shown us his/her onery side. The heartbeat was detected by the sonogram and his/her heart rate measured a strong 160! We were so reliev...

Monday, June 27, 2011. Update on Baby Herbel. This morning we had our 16 week appointment and we are happy to report that everything looked/sounded great! Our next appointment is on July 21.3.5 weeks until we put an end to the debate and start buying blue or pink! Here is our 16 week picture! Sunday, August 28, 2011. I feel as though the last two weeks have absolutely flown by! Between starting work and beginning to feel more and more tired, I can hardly stay awake past 8pm! And since, I am writing this at 8:19pm, I think it could go unsaid that this post will be short, because I am already ready for bed! Friday, October 14, 2011. October 14, 2011. Elsie news: Doctors have said this morning that Elsie looks good on the monitor and my labs are "stone cold solid." :) Meaning, they are staying consistent between days and they aren't worried about my liver enzyme or platelet levels at this point (both of which could determine earlier delivery of our little gal). All good news.the prayers are working! My cousin Tyler made a surprise visit this morning on his way to Columbia, MO for Mizzou's 100th Homecoming!
