Dominika Jamnicky: May 2013
http://dominikajamnicky.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 7, 2013. Personally, I am more motivated to write about my successes and happy times. When my roller coaster of a life dips from a peak high steeply down to a low I am less inclined to share. I know a lot of people would agree and can relate. I had a much better performance in Barbados and had my "Domi" racing qualities back. I felt relaxed and happy to race again. The cherry on top was a second place finish, my first ITU podium finish. Here is a video of the race:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Dominika Jamnicky: September 2014
http://dominikajamnicky.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 19, 2014. It was an honor competing at my second U23 World Championships last month in Edmonton. Rocking our speedy Nineteen Rogue wetsuits. The race did not go how I had prepared and my performance was sub-par. It was a long fight all the way to the finish line. I had a frustrating experience but none the less a good learning lesson and finished a respectable 16th place. Getting ready for race start. Carving those corners on my Devinci racing machine. Out onto the run. Kirsten Sweetlan...

Joanna Brown: Being Thankful for 2014
http://jobrown1.blogspot.com/2014/10/being-thankful-for-2014.html
Monday, October 13, 2014. Being Thankful for 2014. Back at the end of my season in 2013 when I was looking forward to the start of a new season, I really didn’t picture 2014 going the way that it did. I didn’t think that I would be where I am now. But life is a crazy, crazy thing. And I guess if I could always see my future then life wouldn’t be all that exciting. One thing that I do know is that I have so many things to be thankful for and that I have the best family, friends, and teammates. Contrary to...

http://jobrown1.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Craig worked tirelessly for days to finish this amazing video for me before Worlds. It is tradition that he puts together a video of the year for athletes that compete in the World Championships. I was extremely happy to see the video and am so thankful that I have a great coach who is willing to put in the time and go the extra mile. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Check out my Athletic Résumé. And of course to my fellow juniors, Matt S, Cole S, Alexander H, Allison H, and Christine R, I hope to see you at many more events and I really appreciated the time that I had to get to know you better. Dominika Jamnicky: June 2012
http://dominikajamnicky.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 12, 2012. Lessons Learned in Sedona and Dallas. Just though I would make a little update as to what I have been up to for the past month. I have been putting this post off for a while because It didn't go the way I had planned. I guess that's part of being an athlete it's not always an uphill progression. Everyone at some point and I bet more than once reaches a plateau or even a downward slope. Here are some pics from the camp:. Diving into the beautiful pool in Sedona. After our training ...
