July 1999 - Surgery to remove tumor located in cerebellum. POG 9961 (B) is chosen. August 1999 - 6 week cycle of radiation starts (Monday - Friday). Alex received 2340 cGY of craniospinal radiation and an additional 3240 cGY of radiation directly to the primary tumor site. Undergoes surgery to implant medi-port. September 1999 - While continuing radiation, the first of 8 chemotherapy cycles are started consisting of cytoxan, vincristine and cisplatin. April 2001 - Medi-port surgically removed. New York C...

July 31, 2003 -. August 1, 2003 -. August 6, 2003. August 21, 2003. Alex had a hearing test in New Brunswick. As we originally thought, Alex does not need hearing aids. However, the test confirmed that Alex has significant hearing loss, but not all of it on the conversation level. The audiologist suggested that Alex's teacher wear a microphone in class with a speaker on his desk. This should assist in overcoming any hearing problems in the classroom. August 27, 2003. Alex's Story

Alex was born on July 3, 1995 by caesarian section at St. Barnabus Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. He was our first child. He weighed 7 lbs. 13oz. And was 21 inches. Overall, everything went fine, except for a short bout of jaundice that he suffered. However, he was released from the hospital within two days of birth. Sábado, 22 de febrero de 2014. Si vas lo afrontas. El pasado fin de semana,viajé a Murcia al Campeonato de España de ruta. Fué todo una locura,poder tener delante tuyo a autenticos cracks de este deporte. Los primeros problemas aparecieron el jueves,con dolor de pié.Al principio no le di importancia,pero levantarte el domingo para competir y no poder andar,es algo que no se borra de la memória. Unos decian que no compitiera,otros que lo intente,yo realmente tenía miedo. No hay mal que por bien no venga!
