The Domincan Republic through Alex's eyes!

The Domincan Republic through Alex's eyes! Saturday, September 6, 2008. Here are some pictures from the first day we were there, other than flying. On the first day, me and Amy, Rebecca's daughter, went out early to say hi to some of the kids in the village we were stayin in. These kids were all playing together, outside, when it wasn't so hot yet. But it was still about the same as Boise during the day. This is a little path on the side of the village, to get to the houses higher up.

The Gale Family News: August 2008

http://gale-mail.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html

Monday, August 18, 2008. We just got back from a week in SunRiver and it was a fantastic trip. A lot of fun relaxing and hanging out with family. I'll post more later, but had to share some photos of Eli's first ever fish! His Uncle Drew took him fishing and he was thrilled to catch one although a little less thrilled to touch it once it was caught! Way to go Eli! Posted by The Gale Family. Links to this post. The Gale Family News: BACK TO SCHOOL!

http://gale-mail.blogspot.com/2009/09/back-to-school.html

Wednesday, September 2, 2009. I can't believe how old our kids are getting (and thus how old Jon and I are getting). Today was the start of highschool for Alex, 8th grade for Mona, middle school (6th) for Eli, and kindergarten for Isaiah! There were no tears that first day, but the next week proved a little more difficult separating (for him and me! Eli wouldn't cooperate, so we'll have to just imagine how great he looked! The Gale Family News: July 2008

http://gale-mail.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html

Tuesday, July 22, 2008. Can you say FLASH Flood? Today's weather was like a flashback from our former Seattle lives. Too bad we don't own rainboots or raincoats anymore. The pictures don't do it justice, but that orange bucket you see in the middle picture filled up with more than 3 inches of rain in about 10 minutes! The thunder and lightning were pretty cool too! Posted by The Gale Family. Links to this post. Saturday, July 19, 2008. Just had to share some pictures of our first garden harvest today!

The Gale Family News: June 2008

http://gale-mail.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html

Friday, June 27, 2008. Just had to take a moment to post a little High Five to Ramona. She turns 12 on Sunday and as per tradition in our family she got to get her ears pierced. She was a little nervous and her friends were making it a little bit scarier than it should have been with horror stories of botched jobs! She toughed it out though, and I think they look pretty good! Posted by The Gale Family. Links to this post. Monday, June 23, 2008. Way to go Boys! Posted by The Gale Family. Links to this post.

Sunday, June 21, 2009. About a week ago Isaiah challenged some of our friends and neighbors to make a boat out of 100% recycled material and race it down our canal. He was so excited. We had a few people accept the challenge and fun was to be had by all! Posted by The Gale Family. Links to this post. Tuesday, June 2, 2009. Eli's 5th grade graduation! I can't believe that Eli is off to middle school already. What happened to this little guy? Eliyou are a great kid and we are so proud of you!

Sunday, October 26, 2008. Family Picture at a waterfall. The falls were beautiful and Jon managed to climb all the way up behind them at one point. Isaiah and his cousin Eleanor spent the majority of time playing in the dirt behind the house. There were plenty of deer and the sunshine made it a nice spot to relax! Cousin Olive playing with a statue at the High Desert Museum. Isaiah riding the pony "Blueberry". Isaiah after a day of bike riding. Eleanor enjoying having tween cousins to do her hair.

Thursday, April 17, 2014. While making my way through the Chartered Financial Analysis (CFA) level 1 curriculum in the Financial Reporting and Analysis (FRA) section, I encountered one of the most important tools in financial statement analysis- the DuPont Analysis. I’d like to take a moment to explain not only the process for completing this analysis but also breakdown the potential usefulness of it. Operations without consideration of capital structure. The second factor is the interest burden whic...
