Wednesday, July 15, 2015. I'm working on a new idea, and wanted to do an atmospheric picture to see. If I could get the look I'd like. I had fun doing this kind of filter with Showtime! When Billie is having stage fright. And oh look, here's quite a similar composition really ahem. This is Mr Magnifico doing his butterfly trick, with someone sinister watching. On from the audience. the audience have the Hue/Saturation filter over them, set on. Multiply, so they're a bit darker and less saturated.

I've enjoyed working on it, although I went through a few iterations before settling. First I was thinking something Toucans-based:. It was good to remember how much I love. So then I did some Halloween costumes:. I love using the black background against the bright colours, but nothing much was going on here. I'm looking forward to seeing the other months!

Saturday, 22 August 2015. We had our first collective meet up in Epping Forest. I've been meaning to go for the 8 (wow) years I've lived in East London. It is beautiful, but surrounded by very busy roads, so not really much like a real forest. I appear to have lost the sketchbook, so these are all that remain. We also now have a name for our collective, hurrah! I will reveal it shortly, when we actually do something. Water in the lake. Water is tricky. Nature does it much better. Links to this post.
