Thursday, July 31, 2014. First Day of School. Happy First Day of School! This is the first year Chris and Sam have gone to school together. Tuesday, September 16, 2014. Last Friday was The Dog Dash at Christopher's School. Sam was home sick, so Daddy stayed home so I could go and cheer and support the kids. I have been Blessed enough to cheer for Chris at this event every year! I brought Chris to school, since his race was first thing, so I got to go to class with him, and just be with them before they went outside to get started. Friday, April 24, 2015. Mommy is normally the one who gets to go to the Belt Promotions. But this time, Mommy wasn't home. So all the Boyz got to go to Chris's belt promotion. Christopher got promoted to 2nd Degree Brown Belt. He had just moved up a level from Advanced Shodan. And Shihan bumped him up a level too. Then this week, he graduated Advanced Shodan, and learned a new Kata, and moved up to Level 1 all on the same historic day. Very impressive. I am very proud of him! I'm proud of all of them.

Wednesday, March 11, 2015. Sam and I have been making more progress on getting some quality time. This past weekend, we got our snuggles in on Saturday before I took a field trip with big brother. Sunday, January 4, 2015. I asked Sam, what was 1 thing he wanted to do over Christmas Vacation? He told me, go to Orange Leaf. So Sam and I went. And I told Sam he could sit anywhere, and choose whatever he wanted, just not to go overboard. And he chose chocolate and pineapple, and topped it with weird things that don't have red 40. And then when I went to sit next to him, he asked me to go sit over there, he wanted his own Big Kids Table. Really? And I won't be sad about it. Can't Take the Sky From Me.

Saturday, March 14, 2015. My kid rocks. I'm sure you all know this. But, last weekend, I got to prove it to the world. Literally. He got to go on TV with his Cub Scout troup. Saturday, February 14, 2015. This boy got his last stripe on his brown belt! For his second black stripe on his brown belt, he had to select a goal, a Personal Achievement, some habit to change, and document doing it for 2 weeks, and Mommy and Daddy had to sign off on it. Wednesday, March 11, 2015. It's getting pretty outside, it was nice enough this weekend to get outside, 50 degrees! We finally got to start melting the snow. The boys couldn't wait to get their bikes out and go for a ride. So Chris got to give his new birthday bike a try. Turns out the breaks are a little goofy for him. Tuesday, April 14, 2015. For Cub Scouts this evening, the boys got to do a Flag Raising and Lowering Ceremony. This was Christopher's first time to participate. They usually take turns with various dens and kids within the dens. But he needed to check this off his list to move towards getting his Bear badge. He did a great job!
