MickMickNYC: Sakura Matsuri
http://mickmickphotography.blogspot.com/2015/04/sakura-matsuri.html
Saturday, April 25, 2015. The first day of spring was snowy. And the cold weather refused to go away. However, today we were out to celebrate spring in all its glory! And I went to the cherry blossom festival at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. This is my second time at the blossom festival, so I was not surprised to also see the celebration of the Japanese culture. The best time to photograph the flowers is in the middle of the week, when the gardens are almost completely empty. 34th annual Sakura Matsuri.

Sunday, April 26, 2015. Was born about a month after me and she is a part of some of my most cherished childhood memories. She was always a dreamer and I remember how much we loved to play with her three-dimensional circus book. A few years ago, Dina started her own three-dimensional theater and I was delighted to hear that she is coming to New York as part of a new art tour. Today, I went to see her preforming live at the JCC. Saturday, April 25, 2015. The first day of spring was snowy. From a women wit...

MickMickNYC: January 2015

Wednesday, January 28, 2015. There is No Business Like Snow Business. I woke up early in the morning anxious to see the result of Juno. Remember when a week ago. I said that: " Piles of snow were quickly turned into snowmen, popping up under every tree, like mushrooms after the rain"? Well, after Juno there were giant snowmen popping up. Some of them were definitely the tallest snowmen I have ever seen. Walking through the park felt like touring a snowmen museum. Absolutely. They were jumping and running.
