http://elleninafrica.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
My attempt to record the adventures associated with living and working in Arusha, Tanzania. Thursday, July 12, 2007. A little on the Suzuki method. It's just over two weeks until I leave for Tanzania! I write this from Nashville; this is my last full day visiting my boyfriend Tyler. Obviously, it's a really hard day for both of us. But we had a fantastic time here. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. A little on the Suzuki method. Alex Kruzel in Mozambique! Kaz in Bolivia, Summer '06.

My attempt to record the adventures associated with living and working in Arusha, Tanzania. Sunday, May 11, 2008. It's been a long time since I updated. I'm organizing the 2nd Songwriters' Night at Umoja in a couple of weeks - it was a big hit last month, with lots of local songwriters getting to share their stuff, and Umoja sold lots of drinks! I'm being really terrible about blogging, taking photographs, and (probably) keeping in touch with family members! So we have to look for apartments! Kaz in Boli...

My attempt to record the adventures associated with living and working in Arusha, Tanzania. Monday, December 10, 2007. 1 Rock Star has returned. He appeared the other morning, lounging casually on Jessica's bed as if nothing had happened. "Where have you BEEN! I asked him. Only a few missing whiskers suggested some kind of wandering adventure. We were overjoyed to see him, and I basically let him walk all over my laptop while I tried to work. Jingle bells, ho ho ho, etc! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

My attempt to record the adventures associated with living and working in Arusha, Tanzania. Friday, August 31, 2007. Quick appeal for nonprofit legal experts. If anyone is, or knows, an expert in US nonprofit law, I would really appreciate being put into contact with such a person! So, if anyone knows a lawyer who's pretty familiar with US regulations of nonprofit organizations (and might be willing to have a little pro bono phone call or email exchange .) please let me know! http://elleninafrica.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
My attempt to record the adventures associated with living and working in Arusha, Tanzania. Friday, October 26, 2007. We have a home! Umoja has a home! Government operations here are so unbelievable inefficient, I'll never whine about the RMV again. I now realize that virtually every US office is, by comparison, a remarkably smooth-running, clean, well-equipped office full of friendly, competent, well-trained people who know what they are doing. (I know .). Thursday, October 25, 2007. We'd been engaged f...

My attempt to record the adventures associated with living and working in Arusha, Tanzania. Wednesday, January 23, 2008. Pictures from our Meru climb! I've taken more than a month off from my blog (mostly because I took about 3.5 weeks off from Africa .), but what better way to jump back in than to show some photos from the recent hike that Mom, Dad and I took? When we woke up that morning, the sun was casting a really nice light on the summit ridge. That morning we awoke at 1am for a 2am departure for t...
