COMING SOON: the Convergence Trophy Truck will be debuted for both the SCORE and Best In The Desert racing series. Competing against the best in the world, GsR is bringing disruptive technology to desert racing, along with experience in land speed racing, knowledge of vehicle design, mechanical engineering, renewable fuels, and clean diesel technology to take the sport to a whole new level. GsR is building a turbo diesel Trophy Truck to compete in SCORE-International and BITD sanctioned events.

How many young people are fascinated with high-performance vehicles? GsR hosts a competition inspired by Florida Gulf Coast University’s solar go-kart challenge. This type of project makes a positive difference in a young persons life, simply by getting them involved with a hands on learning environment With the open shop, excess materials, and other resources available to them, students have limitless opportunity to learn and explore STEM based creativity.

Land Speed

GsR got it’s start with professional racing with a landspeed record. Those involved with Greenspeed (the student club) learned how to single-mindedly attack a goal with the force necessary to accomplish the unthinkable. As students, they took a perfectly good, street legal pickup and in less than six months turned it into a world record setting land speed vehicle.
