The story about Indonesian girl who stranded in a far away country named Germany. Indonesian Traditional Hair Oil. One of the specific things that I brought from Indonesia is traditional hair oil. Funnily, the oil is freezing after some times in Germany. I have to soak it in a hot water before using it! Hopefully the cold weather wouldn’t spoil the ingredients. New Debit Card System. As always, the ATM card is also a debit card which one can use for purchasing something. When I did my Masters, there is a...

The story about Indonesian girl who stranded in a far away country named Germany. Moving in to New Apartment. So finally… I moved in to my new apartment in Bremen on October 1. As I mentioned before, this apartment isn’t ideal but I really didn’t have a choice. But maybe in a different perspective: I am destined to have this apartment. The furniture provided are old and far from classy. Just take a look at the pictures. The cabinet reminded me of something from my grandparent’s house. The mattress is hard.

The story about Indonesian girl who stranded in a far away country named Germany. Another Bank Administration Ridiculousness. When I left Germany after my master study, I didn’t close my bank account. At that time I was very optimistic that I would go back to Germany for further study. And if I could go back, I don’t have to do the administration hassle all over again to open a Bank account. And yes, my new TAN numbers were delivered to my old address. Talking about advanced technology…. I never been to ...

The story about Indonesian girl who stranded in a far away country named Germany. This time, I don’t understand the administration of postal service. Here’s the story… I order a concert ticket via Internet. And the ticket will be delivered by post. I have done it before. The story about Indonesian girl who stranded in a far away country named Germany. 2013, Deutsche Welle (DW) TV interviewed me. Although this TV station is German but it has Indonesian version, like a franchise. I never have been interviewed by a TV, so this is a new experience for me. Funnily, when I was doing my Masters study, the Greenpeace Germany magazine interviewed me. So it is like an improvement for me, going to higher level of interview. The Deutsche Welle TV interviewed me. Since the interview ...

The story about Indonesian girl who stranded in a far away country named Germany. In applying German visa, there are two options: less than 3 months visa and more than 3 months. However, even when one applies for more than 3 months visa, still one will be given 3 months visa and then one shall adjust this in immigration office in Germany. Yes of course it’s weird, why wouldn’t they just give a one-year visa at once? People even can queue for hours without getting anything! The lady, who gave the queuing ...
