Friday, December 30, 2005. Getting my shit stolen. Ok, i'm a minimalist. I believe less is more. And when i travel i usually don't travel with a lot of stuff. I'm also always paranoid about my stuff. Which is why it really pisses me off, that i got taken today. I put my bag down for a second. a guy distracted me and my friend by asking for directions, and someone else ran off with my bag. i feel so stupid for being gullible and not paying attention for a split second. Tuesday, November 27, 1990. Again, the view from our Bed and Breakfast. Alex was the first to reach the peak. It is much scarier up here with cliffs on three sides of us than we make it look. A BIG, BIG thank you to Nacho and rest of the Piltriquitron Refugio (C.A.P) staff. It doesn t get much better than this. Posted by Morgan Paar @ 1:38 AM. Our demo reel on YouTube. Global Transmission: July 2006

Friday, July 28, 2006. The myths of medillín. I'm reporting here from medellín, colombia. the city is very modern and new. it's this way from all the money it took in during the 80's from the pablo escobar drug cartel (. See photos of his grave below. In other news, the city has an excellent metro system, and even built a cable car that goes up past the poor shantytowns. it's weird, i'm used to being on a gondola at a ski resort, not overlooking the poor, orange-colored favelas. (. RENdom photo of the day.

Friday, April 28, 2006. Did you know that the official currency in ecuador is the u.s. dollar? Seems crazy, but true. and being american, it makes for easy money conversions without having to do complicated math. I wonder if they know all of our dead presidents because of this. Posted by : rentastic: @ 9:49 AM. Thursday, April 27, 2006. 3 days cutting across peru to get from la paz to loja, ecuador. 2 planes, 3 busses, and one psycho bus driver in ecuador. Friday, February 24, 2006. Little things in life make me happy. Like free internet in the hostel i'm at in puerto natales, chile. Weather is a little spotty. waiting it out before doing the 4-6 day 'w' trek in torres del paine. I thought it might be important to know that patagonia has the most incredible skies. especially from late afternoon to sunset. Bus rides are great because watching the sky from your window is better than anything on your television. Posted by : rentastic: @ 4:54 AM. If you think ...

Thursday, June 29, 2006. I'm in the midst of my 16 month round the world trip. If you want to read about my first 6 months in south america(and see pretty little pictures), go HERE. I'm currently in the exotic lands of the indigenous Southern California Subarbanite tribe. Here is a photo of their dwellings, and as you can see, the leader of the tribe has the most distinguished, distinctive dwelling. Anyway, I've got another week and a half travelling here and looking forward to visiting more strip malls,...
