Lauantai 27. marraskuuta 2010. Viikko sitten oli vuorossa perinteinen Tampereen käsityömessu-kierros. Tällä kertaa mukaan tarttui lankoja niin messuilta kuin lankakaupastakin. Uusin villitsijä oli saksalainen monivärinen Crazy Zauberball, joka tarttui Emminkin. Ja pakkohan se kerä oli purkaa, jotta näki mitä sieltä on tulossa! Pakkanen ja lumi on saanut myös Parhaan Ystävän muistelemaan vanhoja talvikujeita. Ensin kerätään rohkeutta loikkaan korkeuksista. Ja sitten eikun syömään. Ai sie purit sen kerän!

Maanantai 29. marraskuuta 2010. Kuten jo kerroinkin, Tampereen messuilta tarttui mukaan lankaa. Musta-turkoosi Zauberball. Muuntuu sukiksi Pomsikkaan rannekkeissa. Käyttämää kuviota mukaillen. Nyt on toinen sukka valmis ja näyttäisi siltä, että mustat ja turkoosit raidat asettuvat melko lailla samoille kohdin. Jännää! Lankakaupasta tarttui mukaan mm Maija-lankaa, joka on kai sukiksi tarkoitettu. Viininpunainen kerä muuntuu rannekkeiksi, sekin samalla Pomsikkaan kuviolla. Lauantai 27. marraskuuta 2010.

Maanantai 13. syyskuuta 2010. Jo totesikin, omasta kotikaupungista löytyy hävettävän paljon sellaista, mitä ei tiennyt edes olevan olemassa. Sunnuntaina käytiin eräässä tällaisessa paikassa. Hämeenlinnan Metsänkylän tilalta löytyi vahojen rakennustarvikkeiden myymälä Navetta, pullollaan vanhoja ovia, ikkunoita, lautoja, nauloja, työkaluja, altaita jne. Myymälä on auki vain sunnuntaisin muutaman tunnin, mutta jos jotain vain täältä tarvitsee niin valikoima tuntui vähintäänkin riittävältä. Olin eilen töiss...

Maanantai 3. tammikuuta 2011. Näin vaihtui vuosi Hämeenlinnassa. Ihmisiä oli liikkeellä uskomattoman vähän, mutta raketteja sitäkin enemmän. Ja tokihan tinatkin piti vielä yöllä valaa. Kovasti muistuttivat vuosi sitten valettuja. Näistä löytyisi niin sileitä, piikikkäitä kuin rösöisiäkin kohtia. Mitäs ne taas meinasivatkaan.
